• Meeting Minutes.

• Minutes of the Meeting held on Tuesday, November 4 2008 with Mike Loftus General Manager of Morningstar Golf Course, Bill Weisenberger - Men’s Captain, Erv Haider - Senior’s Captain and Dianne Baker - Ladies Captain.

• 1. It was agreed to establish a Handicap Committee as required by the BCGA. The Handicap Committee will be composed of Carol Durrant as Chair, the three Club Captains, Mike Loftus GM, and Steve Phillips Head Professional representing the Pro Shop. The committee will have the power to do a random check of scores entered by all members.

• 2. A tentative schedule was established for the Club Championship Week. Wednesday and Thursday August 19 - 20th for Senior Mens Club Championship; Friday August 21st will be Fun day with a Horserace, Putting Contest, etc; and Saturday and Sunday August 22 - 23 will be Men’s and Ladies Club Championships, with Ladies and Men going out alternately by flights. The Pro shop will now help the members with Tournaments, e.g. registration, draw, scoring, etc.

• 3. An account will be established at Cutting Edge Engraving and Trophies. Morningstar Golf Course will now pay for engraving of Member’s Tournament trophies instead of individual clubs doing so.

• Research will be done by Dianne Baker to make sure that all Ladies Club previous champions will be honoured with their name on a plaque.

• 4. Mike Loftus recommended that effective January 1st any member that scores a Hole in One will have drinks bought for them instead of the member buying drinks for all those in the clubhouse.

• 5. A raffle or auction will take place at the start of the new season for three assigned priority parking spots, once each for Mens, Seniors and Ladies Club.

• 6. A Golf Clothing Fashion Show will be held in April.

• 7. The above Committee will meet once a month once the new season starts to bring forth any suggestions, complaints, etc. to the GM
